Thomas Stachewicz

Director of Swimming/Head Coach

Tom

As Director of Swimming and Head Coach, Tom brings a perspective on swimming like no other. Tom holds an Australian Coaches and Teachers Association Silver Performance Coaching Licence and has been the Head Coach and National Coaching Director of the Mauritius National Swimming Team.

During his swimming career, Tom was selected to represent Australia at three Olympic Games; Los Angeles, Seoul and Barcelona. He also competed at the 1986 and 1990 Commonwealth Games, winning a total of three gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Tom held a number of Commonwealth, National and State records and is still a current State record holder.

Learn To Swim Coordinator

As our Learn To Swim Coordinator, Uli brings a unique and exciting perspective to our program.

Before moving to Australia, Uli was a National Swimmer in Germany and is a current Masters Swimmer. She has been with the club for numerous years coaching the development, Level 1, 2 and 3 squads and now leads the team of qualified and dedicated AustSwim teachers.

Squad Coaches
Sam: Senior High Performance Assistant CoachSam

Sam coaches the Senior High Performance squad swimmers under head coach Tom Stachewicz, and, the Level 1, 2 and 3 squads. Before becoming a coach Sam swam here at All Saints’ and competed at a National level. He then moved on to teach in our Learn To Swim program, progressing swiftly into coaching the Junior and Senior High Performance squads.

 

 

Jaime: Junior High Performance CoachJaime

Jaime is the lead coach for the Junior High Performance squad. She is a multiple State Champion and Age National finalist, who trained at All Saints’ in the Senior High Performance Squad. Jaime started her coaching career in our Learn To Swim program before being identified as a talented coach and began as our Junior High Performance coach.

Sarah: Senior Squad Coach

Sarah is an ex-All Saints’ Club swimmer who competed in backstroke at national level.  Upon retirement from swimming, she initially worked with us as a Learn To Swim teacher before progressing to Junior Level Squad Program Coordinator. Sarah also teaches and supervises swim programs with the Dept of Education.
